Happy Earth Day!! To celebrate, we went to Fiesole in the middle of the woods and tried the Tree Experience activity. There were 3 separate paths, varying in height and difficulty. Of course, I’m a retarded idiot so I ignored my fear of heights, lack of balance, and lack of upperbody strength (all crucial for Tree Experience!!) and went on the longest and most difficult path first. It was basically a tree obstacle course that consisted of a lot of tree climbing, ziplining, rope walking, rope swinging, etc etc. The ziplining was real fun and super easy. But some parts required me to cross the air using only these hanging loops of ropes for my feet. Ridiculous. And looking down and realizing how high up in the air I was did not help. At the beginning I was such a noob that I got stuck and had to have one of the staff help me up. lol so embarrassing. And all these kids were passing me too. They were walking on the rope like it was nothing. I couldn’t wait to be back on the ground again. It was a really intense workout for me and I got heinous rope burns on my hands :( But soo much fun! After conquering the hardest path, I felt like anything was possible. haha Going on the easy and medium levels were a joke compared to the hard one. It was so chill and I was walking on the ropes as if I were just taking a walk in the park. 

It was def an awesome experience! In addition to that, I had brunch with Mildred & Chiara and had banana pancakes! They were a bit hard, but I didn’t care because I love pancakes nonetheless! And I also bought a cheeseburger with mushrooms to go and it was HEAVENLY. I know that’s not very Italian, but I just had to! Tomorrow, I leave for Cinque Terre and I’m super excited! We’re gonna start the day with a 9-mile/4-hour hike across all 5 towns. Yayay!! Since I’m spending Easter there too, Buona Pasqua!!! :)
